Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 4 - London. Pours clear brown with a foamy, light tan head. The nose has notes of smoke, burnt toast, flint, dried berries. Light sweet flavour, a little ashy, with hints of charcoal and dry smoke. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with more smokey dryness, ashy roast, minerals, leathery dried fruits. OK on the whole.

Cask at Pigs Ear, 2015. Brown pour with a beige head. Lots of smoke in the nose, compounded nicely by his good friends ashtray and tobacco. More smoke in the flavour, splash of dark fruit. An odd brew.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Mahogany brown with reddish hues when held to the light and topped with a decent beige swirl that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is light smoke, spice, ash, herbal notes, josticks. Taste comprises lightly smoked malt, dark fruit, ashtray, leather, tobacco, biscuit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Intersting brew but not one I could drink a lot of.
