Standing at the crossroads of traditional wheat beer and IPA, this collaboration with the Glasladies Beer Society is a harmonious meeting of styles, ingredients, minds and people. Cascade and Callista hops combine with German yeast esters to create a full-bodied, fruity hit.

A floral, fruity hop punch compliments the typical banana and clove aromas of a Weisse beer; it’s an intensely flavoursome yet carefully balanced beer with honey malt sweetness at its core. Moderate bitterness and a light, crisp finish make for a tasty and refreshing beer.

Can from interweb somewhere. It pours every so slightly ahzy blonde with a decent white head. The aroma is quite sweet upfront, estery, apple and melon, twist of citrus, green banana, banana bread, bougat and some marmalade. The taste is initially dry, decent hit of bitterness, but more of a bitter - sweet vibe throughout, green banana, herbal, floral, warming spice, peppery, clove rock and some marmalde with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Slightly sticky as it warms. Decent stuff.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of melon, red apple and dried orange peel. Flavour of creamy wheat and a light hoppy finish. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Clean and flavoursome. I wish this beer style was more commonplace, I love it.

Can from Appellation Wines. Golden orange with only a very slight haze. Creamy snow white head. Initial floral note then banana and clove comes through. The taste is more tangy orange and bready. Some spice lurking but no banana. Medium bodied, tangy and dry rather than expected creamy. Not exactly the palate I expected but good all the same.
