Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy orangey - amber with a thick, frothy white has some small white floaters even with a careful pour. The aroma is soft, doughy malts, floury, slightly chalky, rather fruity, fruit salad sweets, pic n mix, peach, mango, tangerine and papaya. The taste is dry, quite crisp for this style, snap of bitterness, pithy, zesty, tangerine, kumquat, peach, apricot, nectarine, piney resin, nip of peppery spice and some bread with a fairly short, zesty finale. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Has a kick of bitterness which works well as so many breweries attempting this style (in the UK anyway) make it far too sweet. Decent gear.

Can thanks to the brewer. Appearance - bright orange with only a very light haze. Big, fluffy white head. Nose - ripe melon, tinned peach, orange and sweet apple. Taste - more fruit salad, with orange and apple coming through most. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy texture. Gently bitter finish. Overall - good. Really in between a West Coast and a NEIPA.
