Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours lightly hazed red-gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt, light beetroot. Taste has more beetroot, but it's not too earthy. Quite malty, then a cleansing bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle at the Cogges Farm Christmas Fair, Witney. Reddish-amber with an off-white head and far too much prickly fizz. Sweet malt, a little fruit and not much else. It's pleasant enough, but a little dull compared to the other excellent beers I've tried from this brewery. Shame.

Bottle courtesy of John (cheers John!), consumed at home Wednesday 7th September 2016 Pours reddy amber its hazy with a light beige head, sweetish and fruity but more malty. There is a little bit of bitterness its not a bad effort. I am not detecting much in the way of beetroot however I guess the sweetness is what I am picking up. Mid to high carbonation but not as volcanic as I was warned that it might be, a little fruit crumble with a creamy light toffee edge. Fine. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2
