Can from Sainsbury's online. It pours opaque black with a thick dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred pine, tarry, perfumed, fragrant, grapefruit, lime, cacao nibs and parma violets. The taste is dry, good big of bitterness which lingers... rich roasted malt, charred and toasty, big pine, spicy, toothy, rocky road, liquorice, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, bitter orange, streak of lime, dash of espresso, peppery spice and some alcohol with rich roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Really impressed with this. Big and punchy. Reminds of BD libertine back in the day. Surprisingly good.

Black beer, thick beige head. Smells of toasty malt and dark chocolate. Taste is rye, dark chocolate, coffee, malt and the rye really adds something a little different. Rich with a lasting dry finish.
