440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Pours a deep gold, clear, with a bubbly off-white head. Light notes of pine needles, some jammy citrus, grassy notes, a flash of mint. Taste is bittersweet.herbal, a little boozy, more mint. Bit of a let-down in the finish, with a hoppy but somewhat vegetal finish and aftertaste. Lightly carbonated, full body. Not a great DIPA but it’s drinkable.

Can. Golden body with a light haze and a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, honey and marmalade. Flavour follows the aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Heavy, tangy and sweet.

Clear golden beer, thick white head. Smells fruity and hoppy. Flavour follows suit. Fruity, hoppy, a little grassy, not spectacular but hearty and distinct and a touch too drinkable for the strength.

Can from Tesco. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of resin and glue, faint pine. Taste is more pine, resin, that strange gluey note again, banana. Chewy finish. Confusing.

Can from Tesco Inverurie. It pours clearish copper - orange with a bubbly white cap. The aroma is sweet, sticky, resinous, oily pine, toffee, tangy orange, marmalade sandwiches and Irn Bru. The taste is dry, bitterness which lingers, sticky, oily, resinous, zingy, zesty, ripe orange, tangerine, spicy, piney, resinous, peachy, diet Irn Bru, green and just a touch of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite a nice old skool West Coast number. Enjoyable.
