Half-pint, cask ale shared with Finn at Malt Shovel in Northampton. Lacing rings down the glass from a bubbly, beige head. Dark brown body with a shade of red. Inviting malt-cherry aromas. Well blended taste of dark berries and chocolate mats. Prolonged malt-berry finish. Medium bodied. Nice. (12.02.2019).

Cask at the Cambridge Beer Fest: Poured a dark brown with a tan color head. Aroma was fruity, cherry, berry. Taste was strong roasted malts, cherry berry seeds. Bitterness and dry finish.

16/11/2018. Cask at the Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Pours very dark brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, cherry, blackcurrant and lightly roasted malt. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Dry finish with a hint of liquorice.

Cask at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Black colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of dark cherry, musk sticks. Taste is dark malt, grainy, chocolate with musky, cherry notes and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK

[ As Lincoln Green Josef Keller ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, laber larver, artificial cherry. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, cherry, laber larver, dark malt, chocolate notes.
