Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown wit airy dark tan head. Clear aroma of malt and dried fruit, with notes of yeast and touches of barrel. Sweetish and barrellike flavour with notes of raisins and malt, roast and fruit. Hints of yeast. Notes of phenol, especially in the rough and fruity aftertaste with bretty notes. Warming alcohol presence. A nice one.

50cl bottle from SlackerMads, as part of the EU Local Swap 2017, thanks! A black beer with a huge good lasting brownish head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, liquorice, dark malt. Taste of strong dark malt, red malt, liquorice, melasse, bitter chocolate.

Bottle at KØ17. Fruity aroma. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. Sweet and spicy flavour. Bitter coffee and cardamom. Very roasted finish, jammy with a rough bitterness. Late alcohol burn.

DØE. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily. 180517

Sample glass @ [ DØE - Ølfestival København 2017 ] @ Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Det Lille Bryggeri Imperial Stout 2017 ].Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, burnt, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170518] 7-4-7-4-15

DØE. Almost black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice and salt liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, salt liquorice, medium sweet, hop, caramel and medium bitter.

50 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty. Liqourice. Sweet malty, dense roasted malty. Bitter and dark roasted malty. Lingering roasted and solid bitter into the far finish.
