A virtual two-way collaboration with Carnival, this Double Cascadian Dark Ale is a celebration of coconut in its many forms. We brewed an amped up version of our bullet proof Black IPA recipe, upped the bitterness, added toasted coconut in the mash, in the FV, then as a tincture to extract all those Bountiful flavours we love so much. We dry hopped with loads of latest crop Sabro and Citra to add more creamed coconut, lime and juicy aromas.

can super nice aroma sort of like black ipa but a bit more rounded yet not at all weaker, if anytning stronger. Flavor is black ipa with hints of coconut and chocolate. so high on a very nice very strong us hoppy note, and also high on dark malts. tons of flavor for 8% abv, and it feels very solid. the 80ibu is very well matched by all the rest. super good.

Can, 0.44l. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, tropical fruit and coconut. Pours almost black color with large soapy light brown head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts tropical fruity, slightly citrusy and caramelly, following is heavily roasted with coconut note, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Can split at the Autumn Watford tasting, picked up from an online peddler, 24/09/21. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is dusty hops, Sabro nostril tickle, lime leaf, mixed tropical fruits, dark malts, Pina Colada. Taste comprises dusty hops, faint minerality, lime leaf, coconut shavings, cocoa sprinkle, berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced dusty hop bitterness. Solid well rounded CDA with a good boost.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Cloin. Pours mostly clear brown with a small, creamy beige head. Medium sweet flavour, very mild coconut, sturdy roast, ash, earth, toasted pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Lightly warming finish, more ashy roast, cocoa, burnt pine. Nice one.

Can shared at Watford tasting. Many thanks to Colin. A hazed black brown coloured pour with a frothy beige head. Aroma is nice coconut, pine, brown malts, Dill,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, milky coconut, chocolate malts, piney hop, nutty malts,. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation,. Dill.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - mat black or maybe brown. Beige head. Nose - almond, coconut and bitter orange. Taste - more bitter orange and then coconut. Palate - medium bodied and zingy. Dry, zingy finish. Overall - good.
