Bottleshare at Leighton’s Gaff. Opaque dark brown - black beer, good dark tan head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, mild dark malt cream and dark chocolate. Modest hop spice. Tangy fruits and then a spicy dry finish. Has lasted pretty well, quite tasty.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenny. Pours black-brown with a big, creamy beige head. Big torched wood in the aroma, baking cocoa, earth, iodine. Ligh sweet flavour with some flinty quality, more baking cocoa, ashy roast, orange rind. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A little drying in the finish, with some woody dryness, bittersweet cocoa, more ash. Pretty decent. Has a hard edge to it.
