Belgian-inspired 7,7% ABV ale aged in red wine barrels (7 months) with brett. Thick and long-lasting, it is dominated by notes of grains and fruit (golden delicious apple) at play on a dry and lively carbonated body; ending in winey and finely spicy back aromas. Brett does the magic, adding a seductive and wild funky feel which complements the drinking experience, first sip to the last.

Dorée/pâle orange sur un léger voile, col fin blanc.
Arôme présente un léger bouquet 'sour' sur des notes belges plutôt rustiques avec un léger fruité revenant en rétro-nasal.
Palais présente une agréable effet de barrique - palais belge, rustique, citrique modéré avec qcq notes esters qui se prête bien à la mise en fût. Ajout plaisant de l'apport de barrique de vin rouge qui vient apporter de fines notes de cerises voire de dates et figues séchées.

Head gone in seconds to hazy orange-ochre beer. Dry spices, hint at caramel, laurel leaf, lemon. Sour, dough, lemon, honey, sourdough bread. Finish has indeed honey, wafts of wild yeast. Acidthinning and -burn: quite slick all the same. Nice if not spectacular.

Clear pale orange beer, no head. Aroma: soapy, floral, fruity, brett, wood notes, peppery, funky, bit dirty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, acidic, lemony, oranges, dry, wood notes, lots of tannins, some orange peel, red wine. Aftertaste: acidic, sourish, wild, funky, brett notes, soapy touch, green apples.

Taster at Grand Cru Tap Room, Santarcangelo, Italy. Pours fairly hazy orangey with limited white foam. Aroma is acetic, Brett. Body is average with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sour, moderate sweetness. Finish is fairly long and sour.

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Dorata torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note vinose, di bretta, frutta bianca, leggero balsamico. In bocca è delicatamente acida e vinosa, ben equilibrata, secca e pulita. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Stavolta non si esagera con le sperimentazioni, ne esce fuori una birra equilibrata e godibilissima.
