Quite earthy. Not a great deal of hop taste. But it’s fine.

Bottle at home, 7th February 25. Pours an off clear, straw colour. Aroma is pithy, citrus and floral. Taste is floral, citrus and spruce, bittersweet. I agree with MadMitch - miss the old Kernel hop hitters, it’s still good, but not sure what changed

Keg at Mother Arch III, 22/01/2025.
Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is mellow citric peel, grass, bready notes, tangerine.
Taste comprises orange pith, light stone fruit, grass, melon, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Okay pale.

A light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Simcoe and Galaxy hops bring light crisp cooling pine, mild but bright citrus, crisp too. Some Galaxy tropical fruits before a light and crisp finish. Good stuff but I still miss the wonderful Kernel hop delivery of old.
