Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 06/09/09. Golden in colour with a decent white head. A hoppy session bitter with a touch of sweet malts and decent, bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A slightly hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with flowery notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty again with flowery notes of hops as well as light notes of elderberries, leading to a bitter finish. The body is thin. Quite refreshing - nice session beer.

Cask handpull at Wetherspoon’s Folkestone. Slight haze with a copper colour and a bubbly beige head. Quite a lovely hop aroma, bit of malty fruit. Malt is a little syrupy in mouth. Palate is odd. Bit medicinal. Finish has goodish hop, drying. Shame, as I like Mordue beers, but th malt isn’t right on this and the hop is too drying on the end to be balanced.
