Paper wrapped 500ml bottle, a gift from a friend. Drank at home on 14th June 2025 after the Midsummer Fayre. Clean and clear golden body, white crown. Caramel aroma and taste, this is a fairly sweet golden ale, the hops not giving any great bitterness, just a bit of balance.

3/10/2020. Bottle at the Torun GP bottle-share, from Beers of Europe. Pours clear mid-gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of fruit, grain, sweet malt, caramel, touch of butter, hay. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, watery oily texture, average carbonation. Aroma was nice. Lacked body and bitterness.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a decent lacy head. Nose - cranberry or rhubarb weirdly. Breakfast cereal in the background. Taste - more red fruit plus biscuits. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a dry finish. Overall - good. More if a Bitter or old style IPA.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2016. Fuller-bodied despite its low strength, with a hop-malt balance.

Cask-conditioned at Gloucester Beer Festival, 31/3/2017. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of citrus fruits, honey and floral hops. Flavour had more fruits, some biscuity malts, hint of spice and a dryish finish. Good.
