Cask at the 22nd Cambridge Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear mid brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, nut and slight spice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Med, Cambridge. Mahogany, translucent with a big creamy khaki head. Clove, khaki, cress and redcurrant aroma. Disjointed. Taste is sugary sweet with a bit of earthy fruity hop underlying the sweetness. Herbal notes and glacé cherry in the aftertaste. It’s pretty good, in my opinion could use a little bit of tweaking.
