Cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Dark brown and mostly ipauqr with a very loose khaki head. Big roasted malt aroma with kites of cooking chocolate. The taste is more complex, having sweetness while buffering almost Marmitey edges. Light bitter hop on the finish. Body is watery with almost no carbonation. But that's okay. A decent beer all in all.

11/3/2023. Cask at the 2023 Coventry Beer Festival. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, creamy coffee. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Cask @ Coventry Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, coffee, hops, licorice and has a nice coffee finish.
