Cask sample courtesy of Grumbo. Thanks. Clear very dark red brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, yeasty and dried fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Oily. 021122

Sample courtesy Grumbo. Small head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops, dried fruits and has a nice nutty finish.

Cask@The Great British Beer Festival 2022 - Toasted and sweet malty with lots of toffee, caramel, fudge, medium body, dark malty warming lingering finish. Nice.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Chestnut brown with a good sized beige covering. Nose is sweet malts, fruit cake, caramel, booze, Belgian yeast esters. Taste comprises sweet malts, caramel, fruit slice, yeast load, brown sugar melt, molasses, light chocolate. Full bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Solid well executed strong on cask

5/8/2022. Cask at GBBF 2022, day 4. Pours clear deep maroon brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is rich, boozy, dried fruit, molasses, biscuit, malt, toffee, chocolate, plum, charcoal, date and fig. Quite heavy sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, sticky, very soft carbonation. Very good.

Cask at gbbf 2022 day 1. A clear reddish amber copper coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, rounded tangy dark fruits, treacle,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nice boozy cake fruit cake, booze oily, dark sugars, treacle. Palate is medium sweet, alcohol warmth,. Bitter choc.. Ok. Boozy.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost opaque dark reddish brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Light palate, smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, some toffee caramel. Rich fruits, fruitcake. A little spice. Esters. Fairly dry finish. A very rich and tasty Belgo Strong.

Bottle from the Packie, Dark brown color bordering on black with a thin smattering of tan foam on top. Huge banana and candied fruit aroma. Caramel, prune, and raisin flavor rounds this out. Light body and thin on carbonation but tasty.
