8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear copper brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, biscuit, fruits, touch of spice and herb, earthy bready notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Tasty drop.

Cask from the brewer's own stand at the Thame Food Festival. Deep amber with a thick cream head and a light sparkle. Nice full body with flavours of autumn leaves, toffee and earth. A crisp, moderately bitter brew. Chiltern really are very good at making traditional cask bitters like this.

Cask, handpump at The Kings Head, Aylesbury, Bucks 14.09.11 Pours amber, good clarity with a white head. Nice beer, bitterness was more pronounced than expected and this didn’t carry quite the sweetness that I anticipated, other than that I was in a rush, so very lazy review. However a nice beer.
