330 ml can from Vinbudin in Akureyri, Iceland. Pours a pitch black color with a light brown head and very good retention. Light, spotty lacing. Dark malt aroma. The flavor is heavily dark roasted, much darker than the aroma, with faint dark chocolate notes in the finish. Clean and smooth. Medium-heavy body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. A very good, straightforward stout.

Pours mahogany tinged deep brown into an English pint. Mocha head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing spiders. Dark pit fruit, milk chocolate and licorice aromas. Medium bodied with sweet licorice, hot chocolate and mocha upfront turning to dusty, burnt espresso in the lasting finish.

9/2/2022. Can sample courtesy of Danish pint boys, cheers. Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of coffee, milk chocolate, caramel latte, brown sugar, vanilla, light roasted malt. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pretty decent, lacked a bit of body.

330mL can, pours jet black with a large tan head. Nose brings lots of roasted barley, a bit of dark dry cocoa powder, and a touch of earthy coffee. Flavour is hearty, with oatmeal, roasted barley, a little dry cocoa, and some coffee. Low residual bitterness but a nice hearty mouthfeel holds this together. Very good.
