Inspired by Maryland Shore's most beloved beach cocktail, this one hits you with a wave of bright orange, then carries you out to sea with a subtle, sweet finish. So tighten up those swim trunks, 'cuz you're about to ride a Tsunami of Citrus.

Bottle from lowcostbeer.com, 1 month past BBE. Hazy orange-gold, lots of interesting sediment, small fairly fizzy white head, some scattered retention. Aroma of tangerines with a basic malt background, some biscuit. Taste has a decent level of orange and tangerine juiciness and zest, a light bitter bite in the finish with a tingle of spice from the hops. Light and refreshing. Alcohol not notable. Would be easy to quaff a bunch of these and forget its 6%. Nothing remarkable but well made.

As Royal Crush, 12 oz. bottle at Lambic, AlcalΓ‘ de Henares, Spain. A very cloudy orange to reddish pour with an off-white to pale pink head. Aroma is blood orange, citrus, orange juice and peach puree. Period. Dry, refreshingly crisp, medium to high carbonation. Bitter to very bitter, long-lasting, citrus-y finish. Not bad at all for a hot summer day.

Bottle from Beer Hop. It pours hazy bright orange with a small fluffy white head, which dissipates. The aroma is bright, zingy, tangy, orange citrus, tangerine, kumquat and marmalade sandwiches. The taste is crisp, dry, slap of booze, tangy, zingy, prickly, plenty of orange citrus and blossom, tangerine, kumquat, orange gummy bears and some crackery malt underneath. Finish is firmly dry and zingy. Medium body and fine, prickly lively carbonation. Fairly one dimensional, but bright and crisp. Rather enjoyable for what it is.
