We are particularly happy to have the next release from our barrel room ready at last. Welcome ‘Nedward’ to the family! He is a Flanders Red, aged in used Larmandier Bernier Champagne barrels for one year, before spending 3 months on organic raspberries. This beer follows on from a prototype of which we produced more than 2 years ago which was called ‘Stupid Sexy Flanders’.

Bottle shared at Craft Islington by Mr Oz Spray. It pours hazy reddish with a small - medium beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, tangy, juicy raspberry, grape, bit of sherbet, candy and a touch of red wine vinegar. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, juicy, sweet - sour, lemon sherbet, cherry pip, raspberry pie, granny smith apple, sour candy, gooseberry and vinous aspect. Finish is drying and tangy. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather tasty fruit sour. Good work.

Bottle shared in London / cheers! Pours hazy red-brown with a frothy off-white head. Nice berry tang in the nose, leather, acetic notes, sweat. Light-medium sweet flavour with strong acetic bite, tangy berries, a little woody dryness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more tart berries, woody character, ripening berries. Very good.
