Not a bad quad, sweet and vinous with a hefty dose of oak on the back end. Starts fruity and bright, berry and red apple mixing with candi sugar and grainy malt. Grows boozy towards the back end, pinot and liquor heat accented by tons of woodsy oak and vanilla. Pour is okay, and the texture’s not quite right for a quad, but otherwise a good pint.
