Tap @ Max Lager’s, Atlanta. Extremely dark copper-brown with a thin head. Has small sticky-sweet light roasted malts.

Far more bitter than I was expecting, roasty with a mild chocolate undercurrent but never sweet. Finishes with minor English yeast esters popping up, but mainly retains a dark roast bitterness. Might be very good if it weren’t for the thin feel. As it is, drinkable but nothing special.
