Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival 06-05-10 Pours silver in colour with a touch of haze. Nice fruity nose, squishy pears but not as sweet as expecting, this is a perry that’s quite tangy, in fact quite different from some on offer, its interesting and sits in that middle ground, nice fruitiness with some citrus streaks tempering the sweetness of those soft pears. Plastic cask, 6.5% at GBBF08. Good citric aroma. Hazy very pale yellow colour. Thin mouthfeel. Citric flavour, hint of pickled cucumber. Citric finish.
