Cask. Spicily hoppy aroma. Clear amber colour. Stable off-white head. Thin mouthfeel. Slightly spicy flavour from the hops. Otherwise slightly boring.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished off-white head. Vague aroma of mild fruity hops and a bit of malt. Flavour is light acidic to citric hops flavour with a mild malt base and a minor metallic note. Light bitterness and mild fruity note into the finish.

(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marylebone, London, 26 April 2008) Dark amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with dark fruit and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with notes of biscuity malt and dusty hops in the fairly short finish. A decent bitter, but pretty boring to be honest.
