Flagship’s aromas of hops and spices, with hints of banana, tantalise the taste buds with an invigorating flavour. The palate is full but not sweet, a clean bitterness derived from a brand new variety of hop, called Boadicea, which balances a soft, chewy and complex malt flavour. For the more refined palate, traces of pepper, dark fruits and caramelised orange can be detected.

Cask. Dark copper colour. Mild flavour, hint of green apple, very drinkable. A little sweet. Sourish bitterness in aftertaste.

Cask at The Bridge House, London
Dark amber color. Light malt aroma. Some malt and caramel taste, correct bitterness, but also a touch of vegetables. Not particularly pleasant.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with an OK off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity - and so is the flavor, and here the fruitiness reveals peaches, and leads to a slightly bitter dry finish.

Cask handpull at Bridge House, Southwark. Deep gold, with thin white head. Eggy yeasty nose with caramel/toffee. Fullish in mouth, with bitter finish. Some candied orange, but compared with broadside, not that good
