Bottle from Independent Food and Drink, Amble High Street. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of hay and corn, astringent malt, dried herbs. Taste is caramel up front, a bit sweet, then all the corn and dried herbs. Astringent finish.

Bottle from Hop Shop Aberdeen. It pours lightly hazy deep golden - amber with a rugged, fluffy white head. The aroma is quite green, herbal, grassy, light veg, quite sweet, grainy, sweetcorn and biscuit. The taste is initially dry, light bitterness, then it's quite sweet, green, grassy, herbal, minty, some harshness, some spice, veg, cabbage, grainy and metallic twang with a drying, green and spicy finish. Moderate body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Can't say I'm a huge fan of what's going on here...A cacophony of flavours. Looks good and had a decent mouth feel at least.

Bottle thanks to Ian. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Fluffy white head. Nose - sweetcorn and a hint of green bean. Taste - cereal and a bit syrup. Palate - light bodied, too sweet for the style. Overall - wouldn't be rushing back unfortunately.
