A collaboration brew with Docks Beers inspired by the style used to quench the thirst of the British in India in the 1800s.
Leading aromas of resinous citrus & berry fruit complemented by robust, undertones of chocolate and liquorice. Hop aromas are backed up by lightly roasted malt character and balanced bitterness.

440ml can from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. Pours oily black with a thick tan head. Aromas of liquorice, blackcurrant, resin. Taste is light roast, pine and more liquorice. Fruity finish.

Can from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Pours black and dense like oil, although texture-wise it has quite an easy and smooth mouthfeel. This is in part due to the fact it doesn't really taste like a porter, and it's quite neutral in taste, somewhat piney, but not really fruity, with just a hint of roasted malt found only in its aroma.
