Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - bright red to autumnal. Neat lacing. Nose - red fruit and biscuits. Taste - biscuit and strawberry. Rye spice. Palate - crunchy and close to medium bodied with a dry crunchy finish. Overall - decent example.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours a lovely clear red brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of red fruit and spiced biscuit. Taste is dry and bitter, light red fruit. Dry finish.

Cask @ Bar Fringe, Manchester. Clear dark copper with a small head. Has light, washy rye malty notes in both aroma and taste.

Cask, handpump at The Ale and Cider House, Banbury, Oxon with Bob and Dadger Saturday 16th December 2017 Pours chestnut brown with a slim rim of off white head. Nutty and fruity, caramel and with a roasty and light bitter edge. Pleasant stuff. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
