Can from Beer Zoo. It pours cloudy deep pink - red with a small white head. The aroma is fragrant basil upfront, green, peppery spice, tangy red berry, raspberry and cranberry. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, very fruity, raspberry, cranberry, sour candy, sherbert, touch of pepper, hint of basil and savoury character with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Really like the balance to this. Moreish stuff.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - cloudy pink to red. Fluffy head. Nose - definitely basil and redcurrants. Taste - more red fruits, again it's redcurrants rather than the fruits that are supposed to be in it. The basil comes strong at the back. Palate - creamy, tangy and sour. Overall - very well perceived and executed.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy pink-red with a thin white head. Aromas of red fruit and basil. Taste is fruity, light bitter, spice, basil. Long finish. Good.
