Corked bottle
Dark amber color. Quite classic Belgian Ale, a lot of caramel, light spices.

Bottle from santa - medium amber pour, with decent white lacework - aroma of overripe apples, pears, caramel, some musty/cellar/cobweb touches - the flavor has some oxidation up front, with a kind of metal/copper twang, followed by those overripe fruits from the aroma, then some hints of caramel and raisins - finishes with a little bit of rum, toasty/roastiness and gentle, warming alcohol - not half bad.

Bottle Lightly hazy deep caramel color wit a lasting light brown fine head. Nice aromas of apple cider, musty belgian yeastiness, a touch of alcoholand sweet caramel malts. Flavor is rich and fairly sweet. Some of the belgian twang is there but smooth and drinkable. Slightly stinging bitter aftertaste. Not bad. Tahnks to pinkzambia for sharing.

Amber-red colour. Appley, caramelly aroma. Chewy, sweet, caramelly flavour. Very simple profile. Hardly any yeast character to speak of and no hops.

Bottle. Brownish-amber beer with a beige head. Spicey, yeasty aroma and flavor. There’s some malt backing, fruitiness (plums), and a musty/earthy finish that gets sent to the back when you swirl in the yeast. Not too sweet and not overly complex, but definately has enough to keep you going through the bottle.
