This beer was conceived with the intent to push the concept of Doppelganger to the limit of flavor and intensity. Both the kettle hopping rates and dry hopping rates were increased while keeping the base beer the same. The result is intense, but also surprising in its balance and softness. The mouthfeel is viscous and coating with flavors of overripe mango, dank citrus, and tropical fruit balanced by a sharp but pleasant finish. A treat to warm you up as a true New England winter takes hold!

Canned on 17 July, 13 days before enjoyed. Pours a milky/juicy yellow colour, very cloudy, and a small white-ish (almost yellow) head with little retention. Aroma's: very dank with light citrus notes, oats and lactose. Retronasl the citrus is a bit more present, still with lots of dank hops and some sweetness. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter, with light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Faily low carbonation. Light hopburn. Long finish, quite dry and moderate bitter.

071719, damn hoppy but also crisp, hop throat, nearly hop burn, but damn stacked hoppiness. Spoiled by the monkish, OH, trilliums of the world, still some unique flavors, maybe? Who knows, still great.

At a tasting, small creamy fizzy head, murky deepish orange color, aroma of citrus, some onion and hints of melon and wood, flavor citrus, grapefruit, herbal bitterness, strong at first but tones down quite quickly, quite sweet. Fair but nothing too exciting.

Gevalletje tropisch fruit, juicy, wat zoet van fruit en ook wel wat bitterheid in de finish. Prachtig spul
