Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has earthy grass with a bit of hay and earthy grains underlying. Flavor is similar with a combination of earthy grass, straw and hay.

on tap-offwhite head with trailing lace-gold. A-grain, some earthy. T-grain/lt malt, citrus/earthy hops. 2.5 Second pint was better, maybe they can clean the lines or run some beer through prior to letting me get the first draw. 3.3 So to offset the stale beer lets call it a day at 3.0

12oz bottle. Murky orange-brown, with a lively off-white head. Fresh brewhouse aroma. Mild and medium bodied, comes off quite English. Somewhat soapy, with mellow carbonation. Quite one-dimensional and sessionable. Not bad, but pretty tame and insipid.

ha ha, now i get it. its note a clone of another ale, its a cyclone, check out the label. smell is firstly sweet. big blast on taste buds that has enough bitterness to be an imperial something but just slightly enouph hops to be an IPA. strong and bitter with eacfh slug, certainly more than yer typical american pale ale, heheh. looks like a darker slightly hazy pale yellow. oily at times as its rolling across the tongue. finish is bitter medicine, yep really more than a APA. Big thanks to probiere, geat trader!

Draft, at Olde Main. That’s " ’Clone" as in Cyclones, the Iowa State sports teams whose mascot is a cardinal. Go figure (and I went to college here). Pale ale colored yellow, turns a little bit more red toward the thick part of the glass. Nice lace around the glass. This is the source of the big grainy smell, almost like a pile of extract, though they claim this is "all malt." Tends to distract from any hops that should be in here. Also very sweet. A shame to have to put down such a good looking beer.
