A slightly scaled back version of Absolute Zero, this West Coast IPA offers everything you crave from the style - a light body, piney, dank, and resinous hops, and a crisp, moderately bitter finish to leave you feeling refreshed and ready for your next sip.

Very clear ligth copper and subtle bronze glowing body with a very thick and dense three centimetre tall just off-white head on top that stays afloat for a long time above the clear golden-ish body. Aroma of grass, citrus fruits, mild tropical fruits, some very subtle candy and a dash of flowers and very mellow malts, but no sign of alcohol, astringency or anything potent at all. Medium-bodied; Mellowish malts show at first with some citrus fruit, a bit of apples, pears and candy, but no real hop bitterness or pungency and only a dash of sweetness at the end without any alcohol bite at all - very surprising! Aftertaste is fairly straight-forward with some citrus, tropical fruits, mellow malts and slightly grassy and dry finish, but no pungency at all from malt OR hops and no residual sugars, syrupy nature or anything bitter or astringent. Overall, this is a crazy one - it tastes like a SIX per center APA versus a TEN per cent real Imperial IPA of any type - this goes down very easily, without any astringency or punch at all! How did they do this in such a light and easy-drinking, non-cloyingly sweet package!?! This is one of my favourite real Imperial IPAs from the brewery, easily! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's in Tyson's (Vienna) Corner, Virginia on 11-August-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 22-August-2021.
