Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. As Colonel Custard’s Organic Chocolate Milk Stout 2019. Aroma is powdery cocoa with dark malt, milk chocolate, some roast, soft notes of tobacco. Medium sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium. Drinks lighter than the 8.5%.

ABV: 8.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, cocoa, chocolate, sweet malt, sugary, dark malt, custard. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191219]

On tap at Skaal, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma reveals lactose, cocoa and moderate roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lactose, cocoa, and medium roasted malt. Chocolatey and moderately sweet, with a good body. Nice stuff.

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Pours black with a small light brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, roast malt, chocolate, coffee. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 111219
