Rip cap bottle (330ml) from Hi Time Wines of Costa Mesa. Poured into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass at my daughters on 14th April 2025. Clean and clear amber body, large but swiftly fading off white head. Malty nose and initial taste, some pleasant hop action gives a trace of bitterness. A lot better than I thought it would be.

330ml bottle from Isetan KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, herbal, floral, light toffee, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Kizakura Lucky Dragon Pale Ale 5% Looks pretty good as it’s a nice Amber orange in color with a thick beige dense head of foam which lasts a long time. However, the aroma is a candyish woodsy pine with very rough edges. Medium bodied with a sharp finish, the taste is very bitter pine with a tiny bit of citrus notes. Again, it is rough and not well balanced. Honestly, I don’t know why I bother with this series. They’re probably all the same beer with a different can/label each year.

Can from Yamaya. Orange-amber, clear, thick head. Malty nose, lots of C hops, citrus, bit of pine. Decent citrus flavor, light and crisp, bit of rice, medium sweetness, soft bitterness in the finish. Approachable and easy. Not bad.
