The official beer of Leeds Jazz Festival '24. A Hazy Pale in collaboration with ATA Records, a Leeds-based label that specialise in jazz, funk, and soul.
This pale ale is refreshing, soft, and super juicy. On a base of extra pale, chit malt and flaked oats, to bring a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel, we combined Nelson Sauvin, Belma, and Citra to bring on the juice. Zesty citrus aromas bring to light the flavours of juicy pineapple, soft honeydew melon, crisp white grape, and crushed gooseberry, finishing with a gentle and refreshing bitterness.
This collaboration goes beyond the beer, featuring an exclusive release from Work, Money, Death – a collective of musicians represented by ATA Records.

Can. Mildly hazy azy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Crisp pine hops and a decent citrus streak. Mild Nelson grape, something is better than nothing with this hop these days. Belma so faint I can help but think I am imagining it! Light crisp finish. Not bad.

440ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus, pineapple. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a somewhat light, fresh, crisp, melon, mineral, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Served cool. Tasty and I’d happily drink another, but no flavours really stood out and it was somewhat lacking in the finish.
