From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Piney hop aroma with notes of orange, malt, pine resin, grapefruit. Pretty bitter with a light sweetness. Nice classic resinous IIPA.

SARA 1662 West Coast DIPA
Can shared at tasting. A bit cloudy golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, a bit metallic, quite dry bitter. Hmm not my kind of DIPA. I miss old school hops and sticky resinous hoppiness. Alright though. 7-7-7-7-7

Geprobeerd met Keukeman, Benzai en Roelzie. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van tropische vruchten. De smaak is vol fruitig, ananas, zacht zoet en hoppig.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light earth and light grapefruit aroma. Earth and light dank flavor with grapefruit and light pine. Medium bodied. Dankness and grapefruit linger with light pine.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is hop forward and very dank with grapefruit, pine resin, onion and orange notes. Dank, oily notes. Light grain notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a hazy, bright, golden orange with a medium small, thick, off-white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Fairly high lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. High bitterness and medium low alcohol notes. Hop forward and very dank. Lots of grapefruit, orange, pine resin, and oily, dank resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid DIPA albeit one with a bit too much alcohol for my preferences. I like the dank, resin hop character which works well with the higher abv.
