Big nelson, which is good for me but somehow takes away from the crispness here. Pours clear golden with ok head. Tap at Dominion.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light spice and light grass aroma. Spice and citrus flavor with light grass. Medium bodied. Spice and citrus linger.

On tap at SARA, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of grassy hops, straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is rather herbaceous, with grassy hops and biscuity malt. Herbaceous and grassy. Solid, but nothing special.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 14, 2020. Aroma is moderately hop forward with lots of tropical fruit and lighter citrus notes. Some mango, passion fruit and guava with quite a bit of tropical citrus and lighter dank, resin notes. Light grain notes and hints of bread. Pours a hazy, dusty, golden straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and no legs. Flavor has a medium light to moderate sweetness with light grain notes and a touch of bread. Light crispiness and medium light bitterness. Moderate hop notes of tropical fruit and citrus with lighter dank notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really tasty beer but it definitely muddies the line between IPL and IPA. The body isn't as crisp as I would expect in a lager, even a rustic one, but it's damn crushable.
