28/9/2018. Bottle from the St.Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2018. Explosive gusher! What was left poured amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of fruit, rye, toffee, hop, malt, nut and biscuit. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight watery texture, fine carbonation. Pretty good, and quite enjoyable but especially pleased this was opened over tiles not carpet!

Cask-conditioned at the Green Man, Bristol, 30/5/2014. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish, earthy malts, some citrus fruits, a touch of spice leading to a decent, bitter finish. Good.
