4th December 2015
Pigs Ear Day 4. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, semi dry and low carbonation. Sweet malts. Soapy floralness. Candy fruits. A touch of sweet crystallised fruits. Light semi dry finish. A bit of a mess and quite a disappointment after the splendid USA IPA.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours mostly clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Phenolic aroma, with light lemon peel, dough, melon. Heavy sweet flavor with notes of white bread, ripe lemon, flowers, light bitter hay. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with a bit of alcoholic boost, more melon, wheat and white bread. Hearty and not highly drinkable, but not terrible overall.

Keg at Pigs Ear ’15, day 4, 04/12/15. Hazed orange with no head, murky looking, no stunner here. Nose is syrupy, dark fruit notes, light alcohol, harsh, buttery cooking mixture. Taste comprises sticky sweets, pineapple chunks, sweet mess, booze tunes. Medium + bodied, warming alcohol in the close. Disjointed mess.
