Cask at White Hart, Tongham. Sweet, floral and grassy aroma, if low key. Bright gold. Whisps of a white head. Noticeably a lack of bubbles. Sweet with a light bitter vein running through it. Honey, canned fruit syrup, with spices and herbs. Medium bodied. Sticky. Light carbonation. Long finish, which highlights the bitter element it has. I enjoyed this - I find that lagers can be too saccharine and over carbonated. This was sweet but no chemically so and then pretty flat. Being sat out under the benefited it.

Cask at the White Lion, Aldershot. Pale straw with a ring of white head; floral aroma with perhaps a hint of melon; slightly sour, grainy, body with a pleasnt and lasting grassy bitterness to finish. Probably better if served chilled rather than at cellar temperature (on one of the warmest days so far this year).

Gravity dispense at the 15th Kingston BF, 16/05/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is light florals, citric rind, grassy tones. Taste comprises lemon rind, melon, bread dough, cadnied oranges, straw. Medium bodied, fiine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok GB.
