11 oz. snifter. Big bourbon smell, all right; totally masks what the rest of the beer smells like--but that’s what we want from a BBA beer, eh? Deep black body with faint streaks of brown. A lot of bourbon taste, then traces of yeast, dark chocolate, and cherry cola. A bit of lemon in the finish. Somewhat "brighter" in flavor than a BA stout, and lower in alcohol. Fine sipping beer. I notice that brewmaster Tim has contrived to have several German styles on tap besides the usual "Rocktoberfest."
