Pours a coppery red, with mid-size head. Good amount of hop aroma and flavor. This was a better IPA than the official IPA on tap that evening. On tap at brewpub.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is an amber-copper color with a thin and foamy light beige head that recedes steadily. Threads of lacing at the top with spots underneath. Aroma of mild hops, malt and citrus. Medium-bodied and moderately hoppy with some fruit and malt underneath. The finish is somewhat bitter hops with a light caramel and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft sampler, 4 Aug. 07. Coppery pale ale color. A light hop smell, but a very aggressive Pacific hop taste. Tries mighty hard to play big daddy to the brewerβs British IPA. Caramel malts a-plenty almost keep this bitter brew in check.

Tap, Waldo Pizza KCMO. Amber pour, not much of a head. Aroma is malt, and some hop. Flavor is malt, and clean crisp hop. Nice all around beer.

Nicely done pale ale. Amber color. Aroma of honey and resiny hops. Flavor features a nice blast of resiny hops. Malts are lightly caramel, bready and mostly just a background for the hops. Clean fermentation profile.

On tap at Flat Branch. Dark straw/amber body, thin off-white head. Grapefruit and pine hops aroma, the grapefruit being especially strong in the flavor (being more pulp-like than rind-like) which was balanced by toasty malts. Had a subtle earthiness as well. One of the better beers at the brewery.
