On tap at the brewery Dark Lord Weekend. Clear gold body that supports a firm off-white head. Big malt nose that follows it up with clean malt flavors that are delivered lightly and smoothly. Hides it alcohol well. Well done.

Sample at the brewpub. The menu has it at 7% abv, and I can pretty much feel every bit of it. Alcohol taste is not a usual component of a light bock, but there it is. Dark caramel color, letting through a little bar lighting. Taste is thick with caramel, but the texture is a little thinner than you’d want from that color.
