Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: bright yellow to slightly orange color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated and left a little bit of concave lace
Aroma: some oily/danky hops up front with some apricot, mango and peachy scents with some lemon tones; slight funk and sweet vinous accents
Flavor: marries the prior noted aromas to a great tart to sour and subtly sweet character; finishes apricot to mango and peachy with some hop oils
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper. Light smoothness but also some tart/sour aggression on the tongue
Overall: nicely done fruited sour ale well worthy of returning to

Kanongott.

This stinks like vegetably hops and looks yellow, tastes like sweet hops and mango. Mouthfeel is all noisy fruit and has an okay full finish. Still comes across as mediocre.

(375ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours a lightly hazy orange-gold with a few fizzy bubbles but no head at all. Aroma is rich and fruity, lots of jammy strawberry, apricot, purple plum, mixed forest berries, tart orange, lightly lactic lemon, oak, light white wine, a little wet funk. Flavour is beautifully tart and fruity, lots of apricot, lactic white grapefruit, tart strawberries, white wine, raspberries, slightly drying wood, light wet straw-type funk. Long tart aftertaste of apricot flesh, white wine, citrus and light tannin. Medium bodied, carb is moderate to high and effervescent. Almanac's fruited beers tend to be on the more subtle side but this is both fairly hefty in fruit flavour and yet high on balance. Tart to sour but not bracing at all. Really really nice!

Bottle @ Windin' and Grindin' in Grindsted, 2017. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Nose is apricot and strawberries. Funky and fly. Wood and tropical fruit. Tart and dry with a barnyardy note. Harmonic and quite tasty.

Rating #6400! Very hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, one centimetre tall pure white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of sour grapes, raspberries, cherries, oak, dry grain and a lot of very funky yeasts and brett notes - nice indeed with a mouth-watering aroma of the tart fruits and sour funk throughout. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and funky flavours at first with a very tart lemon, citrus and light fruit element, all coupled with a nice yeastie funk and some grain that really come through near the end, all with a tart and sour kick that leaves the mouth sour and funky for quite a while. Aftertaste is complex, very dry and super tart with the citrus and raspberries showing through the strongest, but also with the grass, coriander seed and oak flavours that make this very dry as well. Overall, a well-executed beer that has tons of flavours and even more complexities, all with a nice level of sourness for sour-enjoyers and not, along with a smooth profile throughout that make this a three-season beer! I sampled this 37,5 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 11-June-2017 for US$11,99 sampled at home in Washington after completing a long training run for the USMC Marathon 2017, and celebrating Beer #6400 on 28-September-2017.
