From old tasting notes. Hazy amber orange color. Rocky beige head.maromatic spicy hop nose. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor hints at fruit and finishes with a complex hoppininess.

Clear amber coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of cardboard, malt, and grass. Light-bodied; acidic taste of malt, metal, English hops, and limes. Aftertaste shows more acidity, metallic flavors, and little else. Overall, an alright beer but nothing outstanding. I sampled this 12 oz bottle purchased directly from Weyerbacher Brewery in Easton, PA on 21-April-2007 on the Eastern Shore in VA.

Thanks to Leopold Stoch for this one. Hazy amber body with a tall, long lasting head of off-white. Caramel aroma. The flavor starts sweet with some bitterness in the middle and a long caramel finish. Needs some hop dryness to balance out some of this sweetness. Smooth with plenty of body.

Clear light copper color with a medium frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Very light sweet chocolate malt with some floral hops in the end overall a very bland flavor, not quite what I’d expect of an ESB. Thanks to Numenor for trading for this weyerbacher brew.

Hazy copper with foamy lace - mild, dry, slightly hopped aroma - has a kind of "yeast from a pouch" homebrew taste to it - dry to start and to finish, with a strangely sweet, fruity middle - not too good.

Weyerbacher has done some nice beers. ESBs are a bit hit or miss for me though. This was my first time trying this one. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet and nutty. The flavor is sour nut with a light body and a dry finish.

Bottled, acquired in trade from DocLock! Bright brown body, thin head. Lightly caramel roast in the malts.. Yes, there is a lightly floral hop wandering around here. Lightly smoky finish.

A nicely brewed, mellow ESB. Sweetish without cloying, and a hint of hops. Brownish red color.
