Can (Autumn 2025) from Steve. Opaque, dark brown, light sparkle, thin head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, brown bread crust, toffee. Taste is strong roasted malt, toffee, brown bread crust, Noble hops, hint of nuts. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish. Good representative of the style.

Mild but discernible roast mixing with base malt to give a creamy-sweet-caramel-coffee character. Clean mineral, moderate fruitiness and a touch of earth and dried herbs.
Lightly roasty but tastefully-so. Dark chocolate never gets bitter or ashy. Excellent base malt presence with a dry, crisp, mildly bitter finish replete with light caramel and hints of toast and vanilla. Very polished and flavorful and very drinkable.
Toronto sports night. Leafs sink Flyers and Jays up on Doyers. Fantastic Schwarz. Especially on a chilly night.

Dark pour and beige head. Nose is roasted nuts and caramel. Tastes much the same chocolate, nutty, caramel, some leather and fruit. Medium texture.

Pours a dark, brown-black, with good-sized head. Aroma is bread, toast, nuts, roasted grain. Flavor follows, with some leather, a touch of chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel.
