Cask (handpump) @ The Aeronaut, 264 Acton High Street, Acton, Greater London, England W3 9BH. [ As Aeronaut Acton Ale ].ABV: 3.7%. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150802] 6-3-6-3-11

Cask handpull at Aeronaut Acton. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Some ok malt some milk chocolate. Yes a half decent best bitter. Some peppery hop finish. Ok condition. Decent.

Cask at the brewpub - London. Tried this a few months ago. Pours clear gold with a light, creamy white head. The nose has mellow wet hay, gras, citrus. Light sweet flavor with damp hay, leaves, smoke, minerals and plastic. Light bodied with soft carbonation; poor condition. Astringent on the finish with some rotten tangerines and more damp hay. Offensive. Hard to believe they would knowingly serve this.

Cask at the Aeronaut, Acton, 20/05/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is pale malt, light citrus, hint of butter, bread dough, grain. Taste follows the bland routine that the nose suggested, more palt malts, light citrus, straw, trace of diacetyl. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, lightly drying conclusion. So very So !
