Ever so slightly hazy golden and light straw coloured body with a very thin, barely coating the top, pure white head with almost no bubbles at all otherwise. The corked popped out very slowly with no 'push' from the beer itself - relatively flat. Aroma of citrus fruits, oranges, light wheat and funky grain, a tart bit of yeast and a very small amount of mangoes. Light-bodied; Very pungent fruit flavours at first with way more citrus than mangoes or any tropical fruit notes and some good sugars right behind with a lot of wheat and dry notes towards the end. Aftertaste shows the fruits and some fructose and sugars, but the tart and funky yeast notes dominate with a lot of dry malts and complexity from the yeast strain at the end Overall, a decent soured, fruit-based beer taht hits more of a fruit-beer than any wild or sour, perhaps moreso given the fact it is so still and not showing much effervescence at all I sampled this 37,5 cL caged and corked bottle, purchased from Whole Foods in Columbus Circle (New York), New York on 08-June-2017 for US$11,99 sampled at home in Manassas, Virginia on 28-November-2019, Thanksgiving Day 2019, around 2,5 years after purchase.

Whole Foods, Gowanus: pours golden with almost no head... carbonation was super low and cork did not really pop... so make what you will from that. Aroma is woody funk, vinegar and a bit of the mango. Taste is rather sour and fairly acidic. Has some bite to it.

12.7 oz bottle from Whole Foods Bryant Park. Murky golden color without much head or lace. Aroma tart and fruity. Drinks fairly sour, slightly vinegary. Lacks a little of the bright, fruity acidity that I was looking for, but otherwise this is a good beer.

Bottle at home from Whole Foods classy little bottle. Nose is oak and light mango. Tastes of lovely tart golden sour, some oak, mango is subdued but present and nice. This is quite nice sourness and fruit on finish.
